Piscine Global: what’s new at the 2016 edition?

For its 27th edition, Piscine Global is banking on strong values: innovation and a friendly atmosphere. The large number of new products on display conveys this will to strengthen relations with clients and enhance our support to professionals.
Piscine Global has been bringing together pool sector players for the past 28 years! Today, it has become the largest gathering for the profession, with 600 exhibitors and 18,000 visitors expected in Lyon. It represents a unique opportunity to discover the sector or enhance one’s expertise. This year, the exhibition will be brimming over with new products for visitors to discover.
Establishing closer ties with clients
More than half of Piscine Global visitors meet new suppliers at the exhibition and, on average, they visit 20 exhibitor stands. This audience is just waiting to be convinced! To help pool industry players establish ties with consumers, Piscine Global has prepared several new features. Partnership opportunities are now on offer, allowing manufacturers to contact certain target audiences directly by taking part in special days dedicated to these audiences, namely the Public Authorities’ days, the Specifiers’ days and the Tourism & Leisure Establishments’ day. Building on the success of the last edition, Piscine Global is continuing the Speed Meetings: the 30-minute sessions will be an opportunity for manufacturers to meet buyers or distributors interested in their products. This year, they will take place directly at the exhibitors’ stands to enhance the quality of the meetings. Pool specialists will also be able to discover new POS materials or packaging solutions proposed by manufacturers for their showrooms and presented over a cup of coffee during seminars organised in the Showroom Academy area.
Enhanced visibility
Piscine Global welcomes visitors from around the world: 39% of visitors come from outside France. In order to ensure they all make the most of their visit, it is now possible to create an online visitor account to log onto a specific area dedicated to preparing their visit as soon as they arrive at the exhibition. Exhibitors can complete their company profile on the website: this means that they will appear on the online exhibitor list so that, prior to the exhibition, visitors will be able to select those they want to meet. And if you want to put your product under the spotlight, a package gives you the opportunity to display your product and its accompanying description at the exhibition entrance in the Piscine Innovations area. Visitors from twenty or so countries can also contact local representatives, agents or ambassadors and can access a visitor hotline to obtain assistance with their trip.
Assistance to professionals
Participating in the exhibition is also the opportunity to attend avant-garde seminars! The themes will be varied and the experience promises to be very interesting. On the menu for the 2016 edition: “Design as a source of genuine added value when creating pools”; “Integrating pools into the surroundings: a combination of skills or a dual skill”; “Developing an aquatic leisure offering and winning over a new type of customer” and many other themes to discover. In order to enhance the way new products are showcased, certain manufacturers will present them in real life conditions in a pool located in the Piscine Water Tests area.
Innovation at the heart of the exhibition
Of course, innovation and creativity remain Piscine Global’s core values. An area dedicated to new products is located at the exhibition entrance, and they will also spotlighted thanks to the communication media and the website. And for the third year running, the Pool Vision competition will award prizes to the most beautiful pools in the world: a great source of inspiration for your future projects!
