Special technical features : SANDBAG® is a new, innovative & environmentaly-friendly filter media. Conceived & designed to meet today’s ecological concerns, SANDBAG® is made in France to promote short supply chains and the highest quality standards. SANDBAG® is made in France from recycled glass, packaged in PET bags also recycled from plastic bottles. Compatible with all types of sand filter, choosing to replace your usual filter media with SANDBAG® generates water savings up to 90%, as this innovatieve new solution requires only one annual backwash. Also, compared with cartridge filter refill, SANDBAG® can be reused ad infinitum by simply washing the bag once a year with a garden hose. Practical, the bag is much lighter than a « classic » sand bag (4kg vs. 25kg), and is easily inserted into the filter tank according to a predefined quantity & layout, identifiable by color code. So & without any risk of clogging, 3 levels of granulometry ensure optimal filtration quality, from 12 to 15 microns for healthy, clear pool water.
